Planting Tips for Optimal Growth

1. Fill 10-15% of the planter with expanded clay. This ensures optimal water regulation and supports healthy plant growth.

2. Add enough potting soil so that you can place the plant at its final height.

3. Place the plant in the center of the pot and fill with the remaining potting soil.

4. Now water it, and the arrangement is complete.

Indoor

Insert a plastic liner into the planter to make it waterproof. You can find out which liner from our shop fits your planter by referring to the product description 'Specifications and Dimensions'.

Outdoor

To ensure that water can drain away, we recommend drilling a hole (8-10 mm) in the bottom of the planter or removing the plug from the existing hole. On request and at no extra charge, we will be happy to drill a hole in your ordered planter if required. Place the planters on feet to ensure drainage and protect the container from frost. The black models should be coated with the wax, that is supplied with the plant pot, once a year. This will help the containers retain their deep black colour.
